In the year 2000 and John Kerry was running for president, Massachusetts' law stipulated that if a senator in the state had to vacate his seat for any reason, the governor would appoint the replacement.  since Romney was the governor and a Republican, the Democrats had the law changed whereas the replacement had to be selected by a special election because the Democrats did not want a Republican governor making the selction. Now that Ted Kennedy has died and there is a Democratic governor now residing in Massachusetts, the Democrats want the law changed back. Have they no shame. Have they no integrity. They are dispicable. If the Republicans did this, there would be an out cry that you could hear across the USA
